Our approach

Develop a skill.
Put it to work.
Demonstrate it.

Our competency pathways connect live learning with workplace application. Each participant is assessed against clear behaviours, rather than attendance alone.

The depth, timing and assessment requirements are agreed for your program. Focused leadership courses do not automatically include competency certification.

A practical route to competency
  1. AssessRecord the starting point.
  2. LearnExplore frameworks and examples.
  3. PracticeGet feedback. Adjust. Try again.
  4. ApplyUse the skill in real work.
  5. ReflectDiscuss challenges and receive coaching.
  6. DemonstrateComplete a recorded assessment.

Application and reflection repeat between sessions.

Assess

Record a realistic simulation before instruction. Use agreed behavioural criteria to establish the participant’s starting point.

Learn

Introduce communication frameworks, contrasting examples and effective responses. Participants also learn how to give specific, constructive feedback.

Practice

Try realistic situations, receive immediate feedback, adjust and try again. Use peer and facilitator feedback to build confidence and consistency.

Apply

Use the competency in real work between sessions. Identify an opportunity, put the learning into practice and record what happened.

Reflect

Bring workplace experiences back to the group. Discuss challenges, receive coaching and practice a different response before applying it again.

Demonstrate

Complete a challenging, unfamiliar simulation without coaching. The recording and other performance evidence inform the assessment decision.

What your company receives

An individual competency profile records the skill assessed, observed behaviours, the assessment decision and development priorities. Certification is earned only when the required standard is demonstrated.

Manager input is optional. Follow up can include 30 and 90 day reviews of continued workplace application.
